
Chase Anderson
Chief Executive Officer, B.A.S.S., LLC
Chase Anderson serves as Chief Executive Officer of B.A.S.S., LLC (Bassmaster), the world’s premier authority on bass fishing. A fourth-generation leader within the Anderson Companies, Chase is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the 56-year-old organization founded in 1968 by Ray Scott.
As CEO, Chase directs Bassmaster’s operations across its expansive tournament structure, which includes more than 50 events annually under the Bassmaster brand. In addition to competitive events, B.A.S.S. operates a fully integrated media platform featuring bassmaster.com, dynamic social media channels, Bassmaster Magazine, B.A.S.S. Times Magazine, original television programming via FS1, and a streaming partnership with Roku.
Bassmaster continues to serve as a leader and innovator within the sportfishing industry, widely recognized as the largest media and promotional entity in competitive fishing. Chase is passionate about growing the sport of bass fishing through a forward-thinking multi-media strategy designed to engage new and existing fans. Under his leadership, B.A.S.S. remains a membership-driven organization, serving more than 500,000 members, and retains full ownership of its content and production assets.
Chase holds full P&L and balance sheet responsibility for the organization and collaborates closely with the Bassmaster executive team to implement both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic initiatives. His leadership is grounded in preserving the values and integrity on which B.A.S.S. was founded, with a strong emphasis on youth engagement, conservation and the continued growth of the sport.

He also contributes his time to several nonprofit and advisory boards, including Urban Hope Development (Fairfield, Ala.), the Shepherd Center Hospital advisory council, and the University of Miami Department of Neurology advisory board.
Chase holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and supply chain management from Auburn University. On January 2, 2009, he survived a life-threatening stroke. He has since made a full recovery and strives to live a life of gratitude.
When not at work, Chase enjoys spending time outdoors with his family. He is an avid fisherman and water sports enthusiast who feels most at home on Alabama’s rivers and lakes. Chase and his wife, Ashley, live in Alabama with their two daughters, Scarlett Elizabeth and Anna Catherine. The Andersons are active members of Urban Hope Community Church in Fairfield, Ala.
